A damp-proof course is a horizontal barrier in a wall designed to resist moisture rising through the structure. Brickwork, stone and mortar are porous and if a barrier is not in place will allow it to move upwards through the building causing rising damp.

Some older buildings may find that an existing one has failed or be missing a DPC entirely. We can carry out a procedure to inject a moisture barrier into the brickwork which involves drilling holes and injecting an industrial solution to react with the brickwork, forming a new moisture barrier and stop the problem.
